Moto Junko is a young woman, barely a year past her gempukku. For much of her young life, she had no direction. She put great zeal into becoming a bushi liek her parents, but she wasn't very good at it. And she bore the marks to prove it. The life of a courtier seemed so dull. She had affinity for the kami, but held no conviction for that, thinking such an exisistence weak. It seemed she would just float through life, useless and forgotten. That was of course until the day she met Moto Tsusung, the high priest of the Order of Death.

He had stopped at their small home for a quick drink of water for his horse, not intending to be there for more then a few minutes. Then, he saw her, and he seemed to look into her very soul. It frightened the young girl, but she did not shrink away from his piercing gaze. He nodded then, and said not a word about it, simply thanking the family and being on his way. A few days later, another Priest of Death came and took the young girl away, to train to be a Priestess of the Shi-Tien Yen-Wang.

The training was arduous, but she took to it with great skill and determination. She had found the balance her soul was searching for, and a new purpose in life. It did not take long for her to take to the teaching of the Lords of Death, and she became a fine student.

When word reached the Unicorn lands of the new Legion of the Jade Hand, she thought it sounded ridiculous. What was one more unit specially trained against the Shadowlands going to do? There were many of them, but they all seemed too weak to truly get the job done. That night, however, she received a vision, one that seemed to point her towards this new Legion. Since it seemed ot be her fate, and the Lords of Death approved, she set forth at once as soon as she was given leave.

She's a very stern, very small young woman, and seems older then her true age. She's an incredibly attractive young woman, with a hint of the exotic due to her Moto heritage. She loathes her beauty, though doe slittle to hide it. She is wholly dedicated to spreading the word of the Lords of Death, perhaps sometimes being a bit overbearing. Her devotion to the Lords of Death and their teachings has made her stronger. She fears little, and her training ensures that she will push on through whatever pain the world will throw at her. She's also a terrible liar, and as such rarely attempts to tell one.

With the Khan marching on the capitol, the Unicorn had few forces to give to this new Legion...hopefully the one they sent will be enough.

(Not too into the Kaiu, and I figured we have enough Crab. And I do hope it's alright if I play a woman. The character just seemed better as a woman.)

I'm thinking about playing some, however I doubt I can start until I get my internet set up in my new house. However, while scanning through the character list, I saw no courtiers. Is there any reason there are no courtiers within the Jade hand, surely someone needs to process reports, arrange for supplies and provide PR for this organization?

Unless it would be a problem, I think I will play one. Let me know and I will start writing up my character.

i am yasuki maral a somewhat grim and outspoken man,as a child i would frequently defend my brother tsuruchi maiku.i alway's where the armor of earth given to me by my father on my gempukku.i studied with the kaiu making my first ever seige engine.i was acompanied by archer's and hunter's at all time's.on the battlefield i would run like a madman after my enemy with my daisho.i would travel upon my return telling tale's of my victory my brother was always present tsuruchi maiku.air was my favored element on the wall i was the terror of the ogre's.the kuni witch-hunter's would favor me on my research for cure's on taint.son of a yasuki father and tsurchi mother,brother of tsuruchi maiku.my brother was alway's present in all my battle's.
