Having skipped his kata on day 6 due to a mild hangover Yasuki Hochkie is up before the dawn making up for lost time. As the sun begings to rise he sits waiting patiently to start his first day instructing tetsubo use fully dressed in armour but carrying no weapons aside from a one handed tetsubo, and a second rather large 2handed one.

Kikaku, up rather early for the ronin, heads to the parade grounds were he sees Hochkie.

"ahh i see i finaly get to learn how to bash things with a big stick." Kikaku says with a wry smile as he adjusts his eyepatch

Having spent the night matching the Dragon drink for drink Saru wakes ridiculously early for one so inebriated. "It feels like Osano Wo's pounding my head" Saru complains to himself. He gathers his belongings then heads for the beach hoping to drown his head in the cool waters of the bay.

At the beach he swam a bit, fully clad in his sake-stinking kimono. Saru noticed two familiar figures at the so-called parade ground as the sun rose. He decides to head for shore and approach. After drying himself and changing into a fresh set of clothes he goes near the the two samurai.

Good morning Yasuki-sama, Kikaku-sama. Saru bows as he greets then seats himself nearby waiting for things to happen.

The cripple shugenja got up rather early, having been todl to help teach the art of other tetsubo. Not that there's much artistic about the brutish weapon, of course. He limped his way down to the parade ground, although luckily his leg wasn't bothering him as much. Unlike the other shugenja that will be attending, he knew full well how to use even a two-handed tetsubo.

Eager to train and eager to teach, Manabu makes his way as quickly as he can to ther parade grounds. He sees the three men standing there, and makes his way to Hochkie, bowing slightly deep er to him then the others.

"Good morning, samas. I'm sorry I missed out on the sake, Hochkie-san. You still have some left, I hope?" said Manabu with a smile, the first real one he'd had all week. It was clear he was having a good day so far.

"Good morning all. Saru-san while we wait for the others would you be so kind to go get your armour. Other Clans do not see a point in training wearing full armour, the Crab clan does not see a point training without. Kuni-sanmeet me tonight I believe I can find something for us to drink. As for you Kikaku-san i believe you just volunteeredto be my assistant. We will beging when a few more show.""

"Good, no better way yo learn than to be the practice dummy" says Kikaku, standing up proudly.

Saotome appears, in his armor for he is always in his light armor during the day. He bows to those gathered and waits for instruction.

Fuji joins the group, bowing to all. That done, she catches Saotome's eye. "Saotome-san, we should go meet with Hida Yagimaki when we are finished here."


Fuji

Yagimaki is seen walking towards the group. He appears in quite a good mood. Seeing bodies swing tetsubos is always a pleasant site.

Ohayo Gozaimasu, Jade Hand!

"Hai, Fuji-san," nods Saotome, noting the arrival of the large Crab. "Which should be easy."

He bows to Yagimaki. "Ohayo."

"Greetings sensei-sama"

Yasuki Hochkie bows low to Yagimaki. "Greetings sensei, with your permission I will begin when a few more have made the way here."

Fuji bows deeply and offers a greeting to Yagimaki. She then turns to Saotome and smiles slightly. "See what good scouts we are? We wish to speak with someone, and here he is!"

"Indeed, we are better than I thought," nods Saotome, hiding a smile.

"Now, do we wish the oni to be as accommodating?" he asks with araised eyebrow.

Hochkie-san, swing it with vigor, but remember not all you are training are Hida bushi. Kikaku-san, you look like a good training partner. Saru-san, how is the head this morning? walking up directly where Fuji and Saotome are standing, speaking in a low voice Fuji-san and Saotome-san fall in on me. We are going for a long walk.
