Greetings!!!

As seen on the Samurai Edition website there are some significant prizes out there for each Clan.

Now, we do not know if these prizes will lead to card form Personalities, Holdings, etc. Maybe some will and some will not. Maybe these choices wil be reflected in a Limited Edition set like they did with last year's Kotei and Test of Enlightenment. At the very least, out Clan's accomplishments will be known and revered and I think we will gain some story time for the winners too.

Course, all of this is pure speculation and not official from AEG.

Still, we see what is before us. What should the Crab focus on? Should we just look at the military sphere of influence, or other areas? I myself am aiming for Knowledge and Spirit, though I will fight as hard as every other Crab in the CCG ring...and Politics could be a surprise as well.

Might as well start planning now.

Dang it! Those are some juicy choices! And yet, we must resist them. Why? Because, the Crab must support the Khan! I'm in the process of working out an alliance with the Unicorn and so, we must support the Khan so that the Crab can stand beside the Unicorn in victory! And besides, we'd probably be up a creek if the Khan gets beaten.

I'm not sure what to make of Chaggie.

I'm not even sure if I would support our Champion if the expansion had been named 'Kuon's Defiance' or 'Kisada's Defiance.*'

In a way, to bring some stability to the Empire, I support Chaggie, but at the same time I could aid the Crab.

I know I am not doing well in tourney play these days, so my goal of winning and claiming glory for the Crab that way is a bit of a longshot. If I can be counted as having helped the Crab in another way, I will seize that opportunity...course, with the caveat that it does not involve damning my clan or making deals with the Horde. Ten years of playing pure ain't gonna be tossed away without a thought.

I'm all for not supporting the Khan. I hate Chags and I would rather see a Rat on the thrown then him.

After many years of playing multi-player games involving diplomacy, the following phrase comes to mind when I think of Chagatai.

"What have you done for the Crab lately?"

Zip, zilch, nada, squat, not a fraggin' thing is the answer. To use an old saying from my military years, "I wouldn't give Chagatai the sweat off my balls if he was dying of thirst in the burning sands."

When he proves he is something besides a land grabbing, horse pimp, I might consider giving him some support but until he does some thing for the Crab, he can kiss my hairy rear end.

Defend the Empire and go for the gold.

My choices are:
1. Creation of a special contingent of samurai trained against a specific enemy- reform Tsuru's Legion - Crab Cavalry

2. The support of the Ox Clan

3. Western Hub Sake Works

4. Spy network

5. The support of a monastic order

No thanks.
