Gods, but it's been a long time! Nice to see that the Jade Hand is still active despite my long absence. Thank you all for keeping the faith and I am AMAZED and humbled to see that the Jade Hand is now officially recognized as part of the game lore! We have a personality card, that's so awesome!

Regards and fond memories to all my old friends here - too many to list but you all know who you are.

Lots has changed in my life in the five years I've been gone. If anyone's interested I'll catch you up on it, but at the moment, sleep calls to me and there's work in the morning.

Hey Okami! Great to hear from you!

(We have two carded personalities, even! And a third who hasn't gotten experienced as a Jade Hander, but who definitely joined the organization in the story (As a tourney result) - we'll probably get another of those soon too, since "Jade Hand" as a flavor trait is up for grab in the current series of local storyline tournaments.

I've recently moved to the Pittsburgh area, where L5R is apparently still active! There wasn't anyone meeting to play in Buffalo anymore.
I've gotten in touch with one of the local players and he's going to help me build some decks and get current with the cards and rule changes.
I had given away most of my cards to a friend before I moved so now I must rebuild.

I'm blown away to discover that the Jade Hand has taken such an active and important role in the tournament scene by maintaining the Legacy rules! This is far more than I could have hoped for when Keitko-san and I started this so long ago! (Has it honestly been a DECADE now?)

Anyhow, I'm back. Hopefully to stay this time. I've missed my Legion.
