I have this deck built in it's entirety, excepting for I only have two copies of Seppun Hotaitaka. Dude is hard to find. I will probably sub in Glimpse of the Unicorn for him until I find another copy. Pretty basic, use the Imperial discount and Follower discount off of the Stronghold to attach imperial followers to your boxable Toturi's Army personalities. Hotaitaka is the only non-boxable person, but he makes up for it with his ability.

I have Ikoma sensei for the sole reason of using Ikoma Technique for free. Some of the other techniques I like for this would be Nezumi Technique (card draw!) and Daodoji technique but don't feel the need to take anything out for them at this point.

Would be weak to dishonor, Tsuo and Nakao have built in dishonor weaknesses and dishonored people won't be able to attach any of the followers.

Self explanatory off of the box. Bring out cheap lion shuggies to get out cheap oni while keeping all your honor and provinces. This let's you use Celestial Sword of the Lion, Oath of Fealty, get the extra 1 force off of Charge, not bow your stronghold for Kamu, keep your hand from Ianwa and keep all your peeps while bringing Shikibu and Tsuburu into play.

Depending on card draw you have to keep an eye on your Family Honor, corrupt Jade vein is great with all your lion shuggies having Shadowlands unprinted but that 2 honor hit can hurt if you also have Uragiraiaiaiaamono out. Would be weak to dishonor.

Currently play with only 1 sneak attack and careful planning subbed in for Evil Portents, because those cards are damn expensive.

My one unorthodox deck. Attempting to win off of having all four walls attached and flipping the 38th Hantei Falls. One of the dangers is dishonoring yourself out, each of the Walls hits your for -4, and hired killer hits you for -3. No one has personal honor above 1 and probably not winning many battles. Went with Ninja shuggies, as well as Goju Hitomi, to cast Rise from the Ashes to prevent attacks, Path of Pain and Bloodstrike to fend off attackers and bring down the enemy's chi and Wind's Truth to help with the honor hits.

Considering taking out some of the event management for Dramatic Assassination or Deadly Messenger. Haven't had anyone to try this one out against so I'm still working on it. Afraid military would crush it if the starting hand and flips are bad.

Only own about 30% of this deck right now. Ninja Strongholds and Goju Hitomi are both expensive to buy as singles. :(

Personally, I'm a fan of kuroiban compound to perform through the waterways, then flip em back with divining pool to be able to play cards like stymied and caught unawares. DP is also dynasty accel, as it turns the dead flips from events into another chance to see a wall. and the fate cards cycle themselves, so you've dropped down from a 40 card fate, to 34 thus increasing your chances of seeing the proper cards to win.

So you're thinking I should go faceless with the compounds switching from holding to personality and back?

Not sure why you switched from ninja to scorpion. Dark Path is still one of the best legacy strongholds out there. A great way to speed the deck up is to use the GE akodo kaneka wind. use fate cards that take/replicate the favor, as well as bane of the bastard, and blow through your dynasty deck as fast as possible, while relying on your box and the bow/cycle cards for defense. Kaneka will discard the events that flip, so make sure if you try this, to keep a grasp destiny in hand in case it flips. Daikoku's guidance is helpful, although you won't get the reduction due to the walls traits.

It's a bit of a gamble as the more cards you put in to streamline your deck, the less defense it will have. But speed is key in legacy to deal with superduellers, broad front jank, etc.

Just sort of brainstorming... Kaiu Sensei would go great with Faceless. I've never played faceless before, but I think it's a good idea.

I think you can have a much quicker gold scheme in the TA deck. With the Imperial discount, you can play 3x Imperial Artificer, 3x Imperial Dojo, and 1-3x Imperial Handmaidens as free holdings that produce 2 gold. Artificer also gives you a little extra card cycling.

Wooden Barricade could also be a good one. That would let you drop followers on Hotaitaka for the draw and then shift them elsewhere.

If you can, you will probably want to track down three copies of Seppun Tanizaki. He's a 3/3 for 4g Imperial (so 2g for you) Samurai who gives +1f to his followers.

A copy of Seppun Tashime would also be pretty good, as a boxable 4/4.

Those holdings look pretty good. Sadly Handmaidens and Dojo are too spendy for my blood. Will definitely swap in Imperial Artificer and Wooden Barricades in place of Rich Coffers and Gifts and Favors.
